I can definitely help you with a connecting your Curt Venturer Brake Controller # C74VV. For this install, you will need a Curt wiring harness # C51451. To install this harness, you need to remove the cover from the black box to the left of the brake pedal. Inside that box, there is a plug in for the brake controller wiring harness. When using the # 3016 to install a Tekonsha or Draw-Tite brake controller on your 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500, you're looking for the 2 plugs on the left hand side and you will install the controller adapter in the upper one; there should be a larger long one on the bottom and one directly above it where you'll plug in. When installing your Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # TH43002XT-782 onto your 2020 Silverado 1500 the front stake pockets are a little larger. In this case it is generally best to expand them by about 25 percent before putting them in to the pockets. You'll need to disconnect the cable from the positive terminal on the battery and only connect the Invisibrake # RM-8700 to it and can leave the negative cable attached to the negative terminal on the battery along with the Invisibrake. This will eliminate power to vehicle so you'll want to go through the steps to switch to neutral before disconnecting the battery.
